Chiari malformation
I have been in 2 car accidents, the first (in 2004) more serious than the second (2007). I had surgery to repair herniated discs after the first accident. In March 2009, I was physically assaulted and now have been diagnosed with chiari malformation. I get terrible headaches, which i refer to as head contractions. I am nauseated, vomit at times. I am clumsy, tripping over my own feet. My vision has changed and one of my doctors wnats me to believe I was born with this condition. I am 45 years old and never had these symptoms until after the physical assault. I am very familiar with narcotic pain medications and have this doctor who is leary of giving them to me for her own ridiculous reasons. I am not concerned with tolerance and addiction, my pain right now is out of control. I got myself off of the narcotics before. I have also found that marijuana helps with the nausea and some pain from spasms. Currently I take hydrocodone 10/325 mg with minimal relief. I was also on Kadian, which helped but my new doctor abruptly took me off since Michael Jackson died. Some doctors are a trip. Why must I pay for other peoples mistakes? Anyone else having such issues?
