me and teratoma

I was diagnosed with a teratoma tumour when I was 14 years old. I guess it should have been a terrifying ordeal for myself but in actuality it wasn't. It really wasn't that bad for me because everything went according to plan. I'm 18 now and I've just decided to do some research on this tumour. Wow, no offense to anyone but wow. I had no idea that it was anything like this. Bones, tissues, muscles, the works. I was so disgusted when I read this in my medical file, honestly. I thought I was just having troupble understanding the medical lingo so I did some research to make sure i was right. If I had know back then, im pretty sure i would have been pertified. The doctors at Sick Kid's Hospital did a wonderful job and made sure that I was okay. By the way, it was an immature tumour which means that it was not cancerous. I'm still getting checkups just in case it decides to come up again. I hope it doesn't because I don't know how I'll deal with it now that I actually know what it is. I hope I'm not offending anyone with this it's just that I needed to get it off my back.
