Chiari I Malformation & Papilledema Connection?

Is there a connection between Chiari I Malformation and Papilledema?

I know for a fact that Chiari I can cause papilledema, as I was diagnosed with both condidtions in 2001. The doctors use my optic nerves as a base line for my condition. Recently it has gotten worse and I may have to go through surgery again...but yes there is a connection to Chiari I and papilledema.
