Default Sneezing non stop

Can anyone please offer me some words of help or advice? I posetd this is another section but I thought I'd increase it's awarenesshere...being as as soon as I got up today I did seven sneezes in a row ands have continued that way for the last hour really.

I came across this forum and I am just looking for anyone who knows a little more than I about this.

I have now been sneezig constantly for four months and counting. A little history...I do have pet rats but have had them for over a year now with no troubles. The hayfever season has been and gone yet still this is here. In the meantime I have had a cold and the sneeze amount has remained constant. I go to sleep like it, it wakes me up in the night, I am like it in the house, out of the house, in work...in short, everywhere. My nose is running all the time too.

I don;t have any other symptoms at all...my eyes don't itch, my head doesn't ache, nothing like that. It is all simply confined to my nose.

I am so fed up with it, all I want to do is cry and cry and cry, it has brought me down so much.

Can anyone help?

Please!

Seriously...no ideas at all? No suggestions or guesses? The lack of any sort of quality of life is too much for me, I'm almost back on antidepressants for this. I can't enjoy anything that I used to, it's always there and always occupying my thoughts entirely.

No words of advice or encouragement?

First of all, have you been to the doctor's? If not, then you should go even if you don't think he could help you. He might just be able to.
I've had my share of runny nose with no other symptoms; it just comes and goes, although it has been much better lately. When it is at its worse I take antihistamine with decongestant and that helps. If it's any consolation, at least you don't have any other symptoms to contend with. Good luck.

Yup, been and seen them, and they have no idea what is wrong with me. I've tried decongestant sprays, vaporisers and allergy pills just in case and nothing seems to work at all.

It's pretty distressing now.

it's probably your adenoids. Go to the doc, it can't hurt. Are you by any chance addicted to opiates? Because that's a withdrawl symptom.

I'm not addicted to anything at all.

I'm going back to the docs today...sometimes it runs so badly I have to lay tissue on my pillows just to catch it all...very inconvenient that. I'm wondering if this is anything to do with an old head injury which happened last year resulting in some whiplash and was very near my nose.

Do you eat a lot of sugar?
I would recommend you taking wild oregano tablets for 2 weeks max (follow instructions on bottle for daily dosage)- it might be a fungus you have that is causing your immune system to react like that.
My bf was miserable like this for years- after a few days on oregano oil- everything is gone. It gets worse when he eats ramen noodles or cookies.
Might be wheat related (?). So I made him cut those off.
He had tried every single inhaler- and he had random asthma attacks.
Eucaliptus leaves are hard to find- but if you can get some for an infusion, they'll help you temporarily.
Healthy people are not allergic to their pets. Take some multi vitamins/mineral supplement. Gotta be strong, to keep your hairy babies around

Would oregano tabs interfere with the pill at all? I'm on that and I know some herbal remedies can be weird with it.
