slimy thick saliva........help
Where to turn? that is the question...........About 3 years ago, I woke up one morning.........my mouth was filled with thick slimy saliva. I had to use cotton around my teeth and gums to deep myself from drooling. The only changes I had made, were 8 months earlier I had braces put on both lower and upper teeth. The braces came off 11/2 years ago, and the problem still exists. Only now, there is no saliva.......only a thick gummy substance stuck to my teeth and gums. It never comes off.
I've been to several doctors........some say it's dry mouth........but not typical...................bottom line.............i'm in a mess, and it's beginning to affect my quality of life.
If there's anyone out there who can help or shed some light on this, PLEASE..........let me know.
It would mean so much...............
