Hi,
Can anyone confirm whether or not high cholesterol is a side effect of Blastocystis hominis?

I believe that I've been living (15 Years) with Blastocystis hominis without any symptons other than persistent loose stool. Recently, I have been diagnosed with extreme high cholestrol and I mean nearly of the scale.

Hi Will,
I think we may have spoken before on Jackies website re BH. My name is Trevor & I too have BH for some time, my cholesterol is also very high. I'm now considering (finally) to go do some natural herbal treatment, any ideas?

Does anyone have any info on this blastocystis parasite? My 2 yr old daughter has had 4 treatments with Flagyl and it still persists. She constantly has diarhee and abdominal pain. Please can anyone help? I have recently tried naturopath but it seems to get worse.
