Contagious..

I have been told by different doctors that genital warts is not easily transmitted orally. I find this hard to believe. I have also read that some people may have genetal warts in and around the mouth. Are these transmitted also by kisses? Or transmitted via mouth -to- genital, and vice versa? If any one has had or known of an experience related to this please inform me. thank you...
