Oesophagitis and Hiatus Hernia -Ginger Wine

Hi,

Although I have had this diagnosis for about a year and with the help of Omeprazole 40 gm now reduced to 10 gm and avoiding several types of foods and coffee/tea/ some fruit juices etc..... I am not too bad most of the time as long as I am careful and graze food rather than large meals... Today I tasted a sample of Rochester Ginger Wine (non alcoholic).... wow there was certainly a kick in it - but surprisingly even so I had no bad after effects - compared to simple fizzy lemonade which I can't even swallow now.

So although I think Ginger actually aids digestion and helps nausea I wonder if anyone has any views whether this Ginger Wine would be good for this.

Has any one with this complaint any comments - I would be interested
