Strange nobley like thing in hand joint?

Last few week I have noticed a slight pressure discomfort when driving in my hand around the joint on my middle finger.

Not painfull.

Today I was pressing around the are to see if I could find it thinking it was just a bruse or something and noticed a hard noble like thing on the palm side of my hand as the joint, if you was to look at your palm its just where the skin folder in the middle of the joint, it feels like bone and does not seem to move.

If the hand is flat you cant realy feel it, only when hand is relaxed and your feel it can be felt and a with pressure it does feel a bit like a bruse.

Any ideas should I see a GP?
