I've been taking Nexium about 2 months as a rule-out for reflux. I haven't noticed that it has helped much but I feel like I have a garbage-like taste in my mouth when I eat. I don't notice it when I'm not eating and I don't think my breath smells. Anyone know about this?

Are you sure your breath is fresh? Ask a very good and honest friend to help you with that! My nutritionist said bad taste and/or bad breath usually indicates problems such as a sinus infection, or digestive problems.

I'm pretty sure that my breath is fine. After some careful investigation, I came to the conclusion that the taste was the Nexium. I don't know if I was refluxing it back up into my esophagus and I could taste it or what. I can only taste it occasionally, and I haven't been letting it bother me.:p
