swollen tongue

hi ive felt ill for a long time now looking for some answers i have given up on drs they wear me out they think its all in the mind every time i eat & drink i feel ill and have a feelin its to do with my tongue it has raised bumps at the back i no they should be there but r larger than normal and every thing i eat or drink seems to leave my tongue thick coated i have noticed the taste buds on the sides of my tongue are very red and sore it also makes my throat feel tight like my thyroid has swollen my sis will comment on how my neck looks diff i had my bloods tested nothin as come up ive had cameras in every hole nose throat and bum it came that i had 3 cysts on thyroid but dr said they are to small to make me feel ill and coz my bloods came back ok the problem somehow feels like my tongue

Hi, I too suffer from, Swollen taste buds. That is what it seems you also are suffering from.
I cannot find any answers or reason why this is happening. Many years back I had it happen a few times, but it always went away.
Now, I have had this problem for at least 6 months with no answers from the doctors!
It is driving me crazy. Mine are fine when I wake up in the morning, but once I began the day and eat it starts.
Have you found any help yet?
Just wanted you to know you are not alone.
