Looking for any info

Hi I just joined here today because really I dont know where else to start my research.
I have had a problem with my throat for 6 years now.6 years ago I was told I had scar tissue on my vocal chords & voice box,so I had surgery.Well I got my voice back for about 2 years than it started again,another surgery though my voice still wasnt normal.
Ok jump to April of 2006,not only is my hoarseness back but now I have a hole(ulcer)on the top of my tounge.I had surgery(yet again)& they did alot of biopsies.So far the biopsy shows no malignacy(sp)
Anyways the hole on my tounge is still there ,I still cannot speak,it feels as if Im running out of air when I try to talk.
Ive started to go to a large medical center & different Dr.Well she is suppose to be the best in my area & even she if baffled as to WHAT is going on with me.She gave me pills to reduce the acid in my stomach,it hasnt helped.We discussed Thrush but I know its not that because I know what thrush is like my youngest had it.
Im just at a loss & dont even know where or what to look up research wise.My next appointment is Aug 8th & I would just like something to tell my Dr something it could be.Is there ANY info out here that may help.
So in short Ive had hoarseness for 6 years
3 surgeries
a hole on my tounge
pain swallowing
feels like Im running out of air/

After 20 years of similar symptoms, I was just diagnosed with e.coli in my eyes! Years of antibiotics every three months with symptoms always returning. My eyes were always itchy, but allergies can cause that, too. My opthamologist finally did a culture and voila! E.coli. Most likely from swimming in lakes for years. Hear is the key. Oral antibiotics can't reach the eye, only drops or ointment. If you do have a swab test done in your eyes, make sure that they do one that lasts longer than 3 days. Mine was negative until day 4. The constant sinus problem and ear infection are clearing and I haven't used an inhaler for days! Good Luck!
