Ok Ive been getting a white tongue now prob for about 4 months.
I also get like white sores on my tongue maybe ulcers,
they are sometimes circled shape of squiggly line shaped,
but they come and go.
Ive been felling pretty feverish, my eyes are always bloodshot.
I get like a mucous in my throat, and I cough alot cos the flem
is always in my throat.
My dr said it was oral thrush, so he prescribed me some FUNGILIN
lozengers I take 4 a day, it seemed to help a very small amount,
but now I have one lozenge left and my tongue looks just as bad
as before I started.
and I have like 3 white ulcers or sores on my tongue?
Im sick of goin to the dr's and them not fixin it.
What do yous think?

i get a white tongue, more towards the back. ive also noticed some white bits on roof of my mouth just lately too, but there easily scrapped off (think it may be were tongue has been up against it). i got given meds for thrush last year, and i still get the problem, some days dont look too bad and other days it is awful. im going to see dr again next week as this week ive developed lots of tiny little red spots on the roof of my mouth and on the wiggly bit at the back of throat. my mouth feels like a slight burning and bit sore when i swallow.

Have you guys been able to get this condition cured? If so, what did you use to correct the problem? I have had two tongue sores with in a three week period. They last for about three days. I have been working with my primary physician, to no avail.

Nah I havnt been able to get it fixed, I went back to the dr's
after another treatment for oral thrush.
And he said that If I did have oral thrush that those tablets would have cleared it up.
Now he says I just have a virus, cos I also get cold sores from time to time, he said to just make sure I get enough rest, and I eat good food,
no junk food. been trying to do that now for about 2 months and that hasnt worked either....lol
Hasnt gotten anybetter or worse since the day I first noticed it,
I got's no idea what to do now...I guess I may just have to live with it.

My daughter had a fever, I suspect from a virus, and got a large sore white sore on her tongue. I gave her several doses of apple cider vinagar pills. (2 pills 3 x's a day) and within 4 days the sore was gone.

Blah, I have oral thrush as well and it won't go away. I suspect is Candida overgrowth, which isn't easy to get rid of apparently. You have to go through some sort of cleansing and diet with no sugar (sugar helps candida grow), well since everything affordable has sugar in it I can't really find anything... I'm guessing I'll have to eat meat and vegetables with no additives and find a trustworthy candida cleanse. I've had the problem since March of this year... I've been given antibiotics, nystatin, magic mouthwash, vitamin boosters, (I'm now perfectly balanced on vitamins), I've been eating lots of yogurt, I take a multivitamin everyday, with garlic supplements (1000mg), and it's still here.

So I'm going to try the no sugar diet. It's true, that if I drink a soda it gets worse the next day. So I guess it's water, meat, and veggies for a few months. I'm not supposed to have any fruit or fruit juices or any kind of sugar.

I'm also going to try candigone, since I'm suspicious of threelac. very expensive compared to candigone, threelac has 90% good reviews seemingly almost the same with no middle ground at all, and then a few people saying it did nothing. I don't trust that. I guess it can't hurt to try this for a few months since I've been living with it for a few months now anyway. Also, a no sugar diet can't hurt for awhile. (I'll still have some sugar, just not as much)

If anyone else tries it out, give me a reply.

HI I have had a sore tongue for a year and i get cancers all the time i have tryed everything there is over the counter. of course my mouth is dry from my salivia glands not working but the sore mouth i can relate too. i would definately try another doctor a specialist if you have too. i am still trying to get to the bottom of my problem . going to the boston hospital next. doctors just don't take the time with their patients anymore you have to fight for yourself.
